I recently came across a “Go Green” blog where the author wondered why all plastic bags and shopping are not marked as being recyclable when they all are. While I do not know the answer, I know that for those that are environmentally conscious, we offer bags that will make them proud!
Our recycle logo zip lock bags are the same high-quality standard ziplock bags with the addition of having the recycle symbol printed along the bottom.
The bags are Wal-Mart compliant bags who have reported, “And we continue to increase the amount of plastic and cardboard we have been able to recycle. We estimate that we have redirected more than 182 million pounds of plastic from landfills”.
For those that don’t work with Wal-Mart, either locally or internationally, the recycle logo bags are also useful for those who appreciate the reminder for themselves and for others, that plastic bags are recyclable.
RoyalBag currently stocks thirteen sizes with the #4 recycle logo; starting with the 2 X 2’s all the way up to 13 X 18 recycle logo ziplock bags.

Here are some thought-provoking facts on how much plastic is consumed worldwide:
Plastic is made from natural gases and oils. The most widely used plastic, polyethylene, has an annual production of approximately 60 to 80 million metric tons!! (Wow!) To give you a bit of an idea what kind of volume we are talking about, an adult rhinoceros or elephant can weigh 1 metric ton. Imagine 1 rhinoceros…. times 60 or 80 million…. Can you picture that?? Good thing our bags are recyclable! Check out our reclosable bags with recycle logo.
If you really think about it, it is logical that there is so much polyethylene being manufactured annually. Practically every business uses plastic bags.
If not for product packaging, well…. where does the trash end up?!
Here is a “short” list of our customers’ businesses:
Food, apparel, pharmaceutical, jewelry, promotions, supplies, law enforcement, government offices, cosmetics, toys, machinery, construction, ammunition, eye-wear, crafts, mailings.
Hold it, still not done… also schools, music, hardware, etc.
